We were on our Friday night bike ride, waiting on a dock in the harbour for more people to arrive. My friend Peter ended up falling into the water, but it wasn't such a big deal considering that that's where we were headed. Everyone put their helmets on and drove their bikes into the water. We didn't use any sort of SCUBA gear or weights, and the water was really clear, but dark. You could see far ahead of yourself under the water, and we were all talking to each other as we rode deeper and deeper.
Later on in the night, I was in a sporting goods store with another girl. I think that we worked there, cause the owners of the store told us that we had ten minutes to put together an outfit that we'd be graded on made up of the clothes that were in the store. There wasn't anything that seemed acceptable, mostly camouflage bucket hats and fur lined vests.
